When you're living out of a suitcase for 20 days, one has to pack wisely. But that's just the beginning. It's also a must that you're able to mix-&-match with your items creating different looks. On holiday I even tend to take a little bit further by throwing in swimwear.
This remix of occasions works out fine if you find a good balance between that beach and city vibe. Wearing your bikini with denim cutoffs is a classic. Mixing them with classic pants is more challenging but also possible. Although I would suggest to keep your pants colourful and floaty. Opting for a black pencil ankle model is dangerous. But maybe you can pull it off, 'cause in the end these open-minded combinations depend on how yòu feel and what yòur style boundaries are. I surely suggest you change things up as new combo's can give you that fresh look you’re craving.
Wearing a Love Stories swimsuit, I put a little white tee underneath it to make it more covered, Zara Pants and a vintage Hermès belt, Givenchy slippers and Tom Ford sunnies.
Wearing your swimwear off the beach is a cute and fun way to widen your options on holiday. Why not give it a try! Let me know in the comments if you're a fan of this extreme form of mixing & matching. Or maybe absolutely not?
Sunny greeting from the Côte d'Azur!
