Propelled into the fashion arena as louche daywear, the fancy PJ trend for non-sleep use is a secret favourite of mine. It combines 3 loves: quality fabrics, suits & feeling comfortable.
This loungewear of the twenties is a cool trend if you prioritize comfort
but want to look stylish
at the same time
If you want to throw a chic pj into the mix this summer, keep in mind following deal breakers.
I wonder, are you a fan?

Go for a luxury fabric like satin or silk to make it more polished.
Opt for bright/fresh colors and don’t shy away from prints either. It’s harder to pull off a neutral grey combo than to wear a blue one with pink flamingo’s stylishly.
A fine sandal (open-toe, keep it summer-y!) with a heel is the most elegant option and will elevate your outfit. Flats like slip-ons, sneakers or a moccasin are trendy alternatives.
PS. Don’t go wild with statement necklaces, jewelry,.. and keep the rest of the items neutral to create that sleek look.
Know when to rock this trend.
There are occasions when pj's are daring yet appropriate. The first day at your new job isn’t one of them. Unless you're working for a fashion magazine or you're the CEO, beware of pyjamas in a corporate environment.
Smile. You're wearing a cute ensemble. If you want to whine, cry and complain, don't opt for pyjama's, just go to bed, you're obviously tired.
